The Move: Part 1

We've been looking for a new apartment because the baby is coming and we had no room for her in our old place. We looked in a lot of places....and let me tell ya, there are some very scary places in Provo! :/ We finally found a great place in North Orem. It was a good size, clean, good price and closer to family! We wanted to find somewhere closer to family because once the baby comes, I will need lots of help! And babysitters! Plus, we like visiting family so it's easier to be further north. We wanted the apartment, but unfortunately we were too slow on the uptake so it got sold out form under us. We called the landlord and asked if she had another apartment in the same complex open. She said she did but she had another guy interested in it. If that guy decided to take it, then we were out of luck. I called the next day and the guy took it. The landlord was super nice though and asked when we wanted to move. She told me she had just found out that day that she had one more apartment open up. We jumped on it!! :) And it's ours now! We're so excited! We officially moved all the way out of our old apartment yesterday. We moved the majority of our things over Thanksgiving to Zac's parents house where we have been staying. We're so grateful for all the family who jumped in to help us move! It was SO appreciated!
I'm sad about leaving our first apartment because it was the setting for so many of our "firsts" in our marriage! It will always have a special place in our hearts, but it is definitely time to move on! :) :)

We got the key today so we went to see it and start discussing where we're going to put things, etc. I'm totally in love with it! It's so much nicer than our first place. Yay us!

The Kitchen! The previous owner left their beta fish, which is the plant on teh counter...Not sure what we'll do with it! Technically we can't have any pets so we'll see if it passes as a plant or if someone adopts a fish!

The bathroom - we love that the tub and toilet are in a separate room. I can do my make-up standing at the counter instead of on the floor with a full length mirror! Woot- Woot! We find joy in the small things.




Needless to say we are very happy people and can hardly wait to get all moved in! :)
