A few weeks ago we had my good friend Kristin and her cute family over for dinner. Her daughter, Lilly is 3 weeks older than Kennady. Kristin and I have been friends since Kindergarten and have had scarily parallel lives since then! We had the same initials growing up: Kelsey Moe and Kristin Mecham. We took all the same classes in high school and had the same group of friends. We both sent our high school boyfriends on missions. We lived together during college. We both married our high school boyfriends when they got home. We got married a week apart (Kristin was still on her honeymoon when I got married. :)). We have the same initials now: Kelsey Carter and Kristin Cummings. We both got pregnant last summer and now we both have little girls whose names are rhyme: Lilly MAE and Kennady RAE. Because of our friendship through the years, it's only natural we want our little girls to be friends!
Guess we have a little work to do! We don't want Lilly to cry when she comes over!

That is quite possibly the cutest video ever. Haha, Kennady whacking Lilly. You can just see the thoughts, "HEY! STOP LOOKING AT THAT AND PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" So cute. You both have cute cute girls. I'm excited to see them grow up and get older. SO cute.
ReplyDeleteOn a different but related note, you and Kristin really do have eerily similar lives. :) But it's good that it brought your friendship together.
I remember when I first met you guys in 5th grade. You were so nice and you looked like sisters! I think it is awesome you have stayed such good friends and you have such cute babies!
