Nursery Adventures!

We made it through our third week of nursery. It was great...although we were pretty exhausted when we got back home! The kids were a little wired and the other couple that was usually work with us were gone. It's so worth it because of how cute the kids are! They make us laugh! We have one little girl who is almost 3 who says the funniest things!
The week before last one of the little boys decided to eat his goldfish under the table. The little girl came up to me and asked, "What is he doing under there?" I said, "I don't know...I think he's just eating his goldfish!" So she decided to go investigate. She crawled under the table and said, "Honey!! What are you doing?" All of us leaders cracked up and then we heard her yell from under the table: "He's smiling!" It was so cute!!
Later that same day one of the boys dumped his water all over his picture. Zac hung it up on the chalkboard so it could dry. So of course all the other kids wanted their pictures hung up. Our funny little girl, the almost 3 yr. old, decided to gather everyone's pictures up and hang them up for us. I complimented her and said, "You are such a good helper!" She looked at me and said, "I am a good little helper!" With an attitude of "of course I am!" It was cute!!
Then this same little girl, last week, did another cute thing! We asked one of our cute kids to say the prayer. Her mom hangs out with us too cause she's still a little nervous about nursery. The funny girl went up to the mom, who was going to help her daughter pray, grabbed her face between her two little hands and said, "You're the one!!" It was adorable!! ha ha
Hope the stories weren't too confusing with me avoiding saying any names! We love nursery! I'm excited for next week!

  1. I'm glad that you guys are loving it! Kids are so cute at that age, and the best part is: you get to love them, feed them, tend them, and they send them home with their parents! :)

  2. I'm so glad you're posting about nursery. Love hearing about these little cuties. Someday you should ask Ashley and Donny about some of the kids they have. They are just older than Sunbeams. One little boy calls both of them "Sister Lloyd." So cute!!
